SENATOR SCHUMER'S MEEK ATTEMPT TO SECURE THE SO CALLED LOOPHOLE

THE HONORABLE SENATOR MISSES THE POINT THAT THE SHERIFF"S DEPARTMENT SHOULD HAVE REPORTED THIS WACKO LOUGHNER TO THE FBI. THEY HAD INFORMATION ON HIM WAY BEFORE THIS INCIDENT. THE SHERIFFS OFFICE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE HERO. HIS ATTEMPT TO BLAME THE MILITARY IS SO FAR FETCH IT BORDERS ON LUDICROUS.

THE HONORABLE DEMOCRAT IS GRABBING ON STRAWS HERE.
BESIDES WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER BIGGER ISSUES, THE OUT OF CONTROL DEBT,  BALANCING THE BUDGET, THE GREATER ISSUE ON ENERGY (NOT THIS GLOBAL WARMING LIES BESTOWED TO THE PUBLIC BY LIARS) BUT LOWERING IMPORT OF OIL LIKE SAY REMOVING OBSTACLES FROM ANWR THAT WILL CREATE JOBS TO GROW THE ECONOMY. AND HOW ABOUT BUILDING THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY, AGAIN CREATE CONSTRUCTION JOBS AND LOWER OUR GROWING ENERGY COST.

BUT HE WOULD RATHER WORK ON MEANINGLESS EFFORTS WHERE THE LOCAL COUNTY IS MUCH AS FAULT WHEN IT ALL FINALLY COMES DOWN TO VIEW.
THE DEMOCRATS ARE SO FAR OFF AND OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE BIGGER PICTURE OF WHAT IS IMPORTANT WITH FIXING THIS COUNTRY. OUR VERY SURVIVAL AS A NATION IS AT A CROSS ROAD AND CONGRESS BETTER GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER. HOW ABOUT DEBATING WHAT WILL MAKE THIS COUNTRY PROSPEROUS AGAIN.

WE THE PEOPLE ARE WATCHING.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Sunday that he is penning a letter to President Obama asking him to close one of the gun-control loopholes that may have contributed to last weekend's shooting at a meet-and-greet in Tucson, Ariz.

But the Army was not required to notify the FBI of the "excessive drug use" rejection, which would have let law enforcement add his name to the database that would show up when checking a customer purchasing a gun.

"I think we're missing a bigger problem," Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) said. "We need to make sure we fix the right problem."
