SENATOR BOB "THE BUILDER" MENENDEZ (D-NJ) AS A DEMOCRAT CUBAN HERITAGE WHO WAS CHARGE WITH 12 CRIMINAL COUNTS OF CORRUPTION OF WHICH MOST WERE BRIBERY GETS A REPRIEVE FROM A HUNG JURY A MISTRIAL OF WHICH 12 JURORS OF PEERS COULD NOT COME TO A CONVICTION OR ACQUITTAL AS THE SITTING SENATOR OF NEW JERSEY GOES BACK TO BUSINESS AS USUAL GOING AFTER HIS SENATOR SEAT UP FOR RELECTION OF THE DEMOCRAT STATE OF NEW JERSEY

After the jury again informed the judge they could not reach a decision, a federal judge declared a mistrial in Sen. Bob Menendez's corruption and bribery trial.
U.S. District Court Judge William H. Walls said Thursday afternoon that he found "no alternative to declaring a mistrial."
Earlier this week, the jury told Walls that they were unable to come to a verdict, but he implored them to continue with deliberations. On Thursday, the jury again informed him of their inability to come to a decision.
Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat, was accused of accepting a plethora of donations and gifts from a wealthy friend in exchange for political influence. Both Menendez and the doctor, Salomon Melgen, maintained their innocence.
This was the first time in nine years that a sitting U.S. senator faced federal bribery charges.

THE CUBAN HOUSTON ASTRO BASEBALL PLAYER YULI GURRIEL TO BE SUSPENDED 5 GAMES IN 2018 WORTH $320,855 FOR MAKING A RACIAL ASIAN GESTURE WITH THE STRENCHING OF THE EYES WITH HIS FINGERS MIMICKING ASIAN EYES DURING THE ATROS DODGER WORLD SERIES GAME 3 AGAINST THE DODGER JAPANESE PICTHER YU DARVISH

Yuli Gurriel, the Houston Astros first baseman who was seen making a racist gesture in the dugout during Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night, has been given a five-game suspension without pay that will begin at the start of the 2018 season.
The suspension, which was handed down by Rob Manfred, the commissioner of Major League Baseball, is the largest levied against a player for a public act of intolerance during a baseball game, exceeding by two games the suspension of Yunel Escobar, who was penalized for gay slurs written on his eye black strips in 2012.
Manfred’s decision, which he announced in a Saturday afternoon news conference, means that Gurriel will not have to sit out any of the remaining games of the World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers tied the Series at two games apiece with a 6-2 victory on Saturday night.
Gurriel is scheduled to earn $12 million in 2018 and will lose roughly $320,855 because of the suspension. He will also have to undergo sensitivity training.

THE FAILURE OF ONCE AGAIN HOW A DEMOCRAT LED PRESIDENCY POTUS BHO CAME TO TERMS WITH N KOREA BY BURYING ITS HEAD INTO THE GROUND SO DEEP THAT IT COMES OUT OF ITS OWN BACK END - AS N KOREA HAS THE FULL CAPABILITY TO CREATE MAJOR DEVASTATION TO THE US WITH 90% CASUALTY OF AMERICAN CITIZENS - AS THE REPUBLICAN POTUS TRUMP MUST NOW FIX TO SECURE THE SAFETY OF US CITIZENS FROM MANIACAL ENEMIES OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

William R. Graham, chairman of the former EMP commission and its former chief of staff, Peter Vincent Pry, said that the U.S. has ignored the warning signs for years and that North Korea's military moves this year must be seen as a wake-up call.
They said:
  • Just six months ago, most experts thought North Korea's nuclear arsenal was primitive, some academics claiming it had as few as 6 A-Bombs. Now the intelligence community reportedly estimates North Korea has 60 nuclear weapons.
  • Just six months ago, most experts thought North Korea's ICBMs were fake, or if real could not strike the U.S. mainland. Now the intelligence community reportedly estimates North Korea's ICBMs can strike Denver and Chicago, and perhaps the entire United States.
  • Just six months ago, most experts thought North Korea was many years away from an H-Bomb. Now it appears North Korea has H-Bombs comparable to sophisticated U.S. two-stage thermonuclear weapons.
  • Just six months ago, most experts claimed North Korean ICBMs could not miniaturize an A-Bomb or design a reentry vehicle for missile delivery. Now the intelligence community reportedly assesses North Korea has miniaturized nuclear weapons, and has developed reentry vehicles for missile delivery, including by ICBMs that can strike the U.S.
  • After massive intelligence failures grossly underestimating North Korea's long-range missile capabilities, number of nuclear weapons, warhead miniaturization, and proximity to an H-Bomb, the biggest North Korean threat to the U.S. remains unacknowledged—nuclear EMP attack.

20 WEEKS OLD BABIES ARE NOW BANNED FROM BEING ABORTED TO DEATH AS THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE VOTES 237 TO 189 TO PASS THE BILL TO THE SENATE WITH LOUD OUT CRIES OF OBJECTIONS ALREADY FROM SENATE DEMOCRATS AGAINST SAVING THE UNBORN

H.R.36 - Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act

The House passed a bill Tuesday that would ban abortions after 20 weeks.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), would make it a crime to perform or attempt an abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy, with the possibility of a fine, up to five years in prison or both.
The measure passed heavily along party lines, 237-189.

The bill allows exceptions in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the woman and wouldn't penalize women for seeking to get abortions after 20 weeks.
The legislation is likely to face a tough sell in the Senate. A similar bill passed the House in 2015 but was blocked by Senate Democrats.

With only a 52-seat majority it would be unlikely Senate Republicans could gather the 60 votes needed to move the legislation to President Trump's desk.

Hundreds of thousands of people across Catalonia have been protesting over Spanish police violence during the vote, during which nearly 900 people were hurt.
During the vote, 33 police officers were also injured, local medical officials said.

In the BBC interview, Catalonia's President Carles Puigdemont said his government would "act at the end of this week or the beginning of next".
When asked what he would do if the Spanish government were to intervene and take control of Catalonia's government, Mr Puigdemont said it would be "an error which changes everything".

SCIENTISTS LED BY HANYANG UNIVERSITY KIM SEON JEONG ALONG WITH KIM SHI HYEONG AND PARTNERED WITH SCIENTIST FROM UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS RAY BAUGHMAN, CARTER HAINES, AND NA LI TO PUBLISH THE DEVELOPMENT OF TWISTRON - A STRING OF CARBON NANOTUBE THAT GENERATES ELECTRICTY WHEN EXPAND AND CONTRACTS

.A group of scientists led by Hanyang University Professor Kim Seon-jeong have developed yarn that can produce electricity through contraction and relaxation a world first according to the Ministry of Science and ICT (MIST), Thursday.

Naming the invention the "twistron yarn," the research team expect it can be used for electronics products such as wearable devices, smartphones and drones that will be able to operate for longer without an additional power supply.

"Unlike batteries, which can provide energy only for a limited time, the twistron yarn can produce renewable electric power unlimitedly and semi-permanently," Kim said.
"We believe it has high potential for diverse industrial applications such as self-operating wireless sensors, mass power production in the ocean and lasting power supply for handsets and drones."

Kim said the ultimate goal is to further improve the efficiency of twistron yarn's power generating capability and to make it mass-producible at a low cost...........

........The research and development of twistron yarn will be released through international scientific journal Science on Friday. Besides Kim, his colleagues Kim Shi-hyeong at Hanyang University as well as Ray Baughman, Carter Haines and Na Li from University of Texas at Dallas have worked together for this paper titled, "Harvesting electrical energy from carbon nanotube yarn twist," the ministry said.

THE FM AND AM FREE AIRWAVES ARE NOT SUPPORTED ANY LONGER IN SMARTPHONES - AS THE BACK UP TUNER WHEN NETWORKS CRASHES FROM THE IPHONE 7 AND 8 IS NONE EXISTENT

APPLE fans are getting very angry about a “hidden” FM radio that is allegedly refusing to switch on.
So much so, that the US Federal Communications Commission has requested the iPhone makers enable the frequency in the interest of public safety, reports The Sun.
As old-school as it might seem, FM radio technology is more than a way to listen to your fave radio show without draining your data allowance.
It could prove incredibly useful in an emergency when phone networks crash but radio services remain operational.
And following recent natural disasters in the US, politicians are calling upon tech giants to enable the function.
But Apple has poured cold water on the idea they could simply switch the technology back on.

HISPANICS ARE THE ONE'S WILLING TO ACCEPT HIGHER TAXES AND HIGH CRIMES FROM THE CITY OF CHICAGO IN COOK COUNTY ILLINOIS AS THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY GROWS 30% IN THE WINDY CITY AS THE LAST CENSUS REVEALS

New census statistics show the Hispanic population grew by 17,000 in a one-year period. For the first time, Hispanics are the second-largest ethnic group in the city.
Meanwhile, the African-American population is shrinking, with 42,000 moving out.

In Little Village, it’s not hard to spot the influence and heritage. At Dulcelandia, a candy store, sales and the number of customers have increased since the business opened in 1995.
This would seem to reflect new U.S. Census data showing the Hispanic population in Chicago jumping from 786,000 to 803,000 between 2015 and 2016.
This means about 30 percent of the Windy City’s population is now of Hispanic or Latino descent.

DACA IS NO LONGER A BAKA WORD AS THE GOP POTUS TRUMP CROSSES OVER THE LINE TO NEGOTIATE A DEAL WITH THE DEMOCRATS CHUCK SCHUMER AND NANCY PELOSI, WHILST THE GOP LEADERSHIP DID NOT WANT TO TOUCH THIS HOT POTATO, DACA'S DREAMS AND HOPES IS ALIVE TO BE LEGISLATED INTO LAW FOR THE PATH TO US CITIZENSHIP

The top House and Senate Democrats said Wednesday they had reached agreement with President Donald Trump to protect thousands of younger immigrants from deportation and fund some border security enhancements — not including Trump’s long-sought border wall.
The deal announced by Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi following a White House dinner would enshrine protections for the nearly 800,000 immigrants brought illegally to this country as kids who had benefited from former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. The program provided temporary work permits and protection from deportation.
Trump ended the program earlier this month and had given Congress six months to come up with a legislative fix before the statuses of the so-called “Dreamers” begin to expire.
“We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that’s acceptable to both sides,” Pelosi and Schumer said in a joint statement.

It was the second time in two weeks that Trump cut out Republicans to reach a deal with Pelosi and Schumer. A person briefed on the meeting, who demanded anonymity to discuss it, said the deal specifies bipartisan legislation called the DREAM Act that provides eventual citizenship for the young immigrants.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but said in its own statement that the president had had “a constructive working dinner” with Schumer, Pelosi and administration officials “to discuss policy and legislative priorities,” including DACA.
“This is a positive step toward the President’s strong commitment to bipartisan solutions for the issues most important to all Americans,” the White House said.
During a White House meeting with moderate House members from both parties earlier Wednesday, Trump had urged lawmakers to come up with a bipartisan solution.
“We don’t want to forget DACA,” Trump told the members at the meeting. “We want to see if we can do something in a bipartisan fashion so that we can solve the DACA problem and other immigration problems.”

HWASONG -14 ICBM PROJECTED DISTANCE TO REACH CHICAGO - ALL DUE TO THE KIM OF N KOREA MANIACAL IDIALISM OF MAINTAINING ULTIMATE COMMUNIST POWER OVER THE HERMIT KINGDOM - MISSILES TECHNOLOGY GIFTED BY THE RUSSIAN

Developmental models

The Hwasong-12, Musudan and Pukguksong missiles form part of a new generation of Kim Jong Un's developmental weapons that appeared at a military parade in April. The missiles, all now successfully tested, are pushing the boundaries of North Korea's current technological capabilities.

First tested on July 4, 2017. The second test flight on July 28, 2017 indicates a potential range of over 10,000km.

Kim’s rocket stars

After a successful missile launch, Kim Jong Un is often seen exchanging smiles, hugs and a celebratory cigarette with the same three men. The three, shown with Kim in photographs and TV footage in North Korean media, are of the key figures behind the country’s rapidly accelerating missile programme and of great interest to Western security and intelligence agencies.

A VIKING WARRIOR GRAVE SIGHT DISCOVERED PROVES WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT WOMEN WERE LEADER WARRIORS - AN EXAMPLE OF XENA THE WARRIOR PRINCESS - AS THE BIRKA GRAVE BJ 581 REVEALS

“At Birka, grave Bj 581 was brought forward as an example of an elaborate high-status male warrior grave,” the study reads. “This image of the male warrior in a patriarchal society was reinforced by research traditions and contemporary preconceptions. Hence, the biological sex of the individual was taken for granted.”
Until now.
“What we have studied was not a Valkyrie from the sagas but a real life military leader, that happens to be a woman,” says the leader of the Stockholm and Uppsala Universities study, Charlotte Hedenstierna-Jonson.
The burial was made near the Viking town of Birka in the mid 10th Century. Isotope analysis of her teeth reveals she had been a roamer — moving all about northern Europe in keeping with the legendary Viking wanderlust.
The notion of a Viking warrior woman is not new. Mention is found in Nordic tradition.

STEPHEN COLBERT AFTER A 2 WEEK VACATION COMES BACK SPEWING HIS HOLLYWOOD BACKED LEFTIST BACKGROUND WITH AN IDOLIZING PROMOTING NAZI SALUTE

........Bannon also defended President Trump’s heavily criticized reaction to the neo-Nazi march on Charlottesville, with the president stating there was violence “on many sides” and “good people” on both sides.
“By the way, after the Charlottesville situation—that’s what I told John Kelly—I was the only guy that came out and tried to defend him. I was the only guy that said, ‘He’s talking about something that’s… taking it up to a higher level,’” muttered Bannon.
“Yeah, he’s definitely taking it to a higher level. I’d say his support is about up there. Right around here,” said Colbert, delivering the Nazi salute. “Or over here,” he added, delivering another mock Nazi salute. “Somewhere up there.”

RUSSIAN TROOPS ON THE BORDERS OF THE EU READY TO ACT THE COMMUNIST MOTTO OF FIRST INVASION - THE SAME MINDSET OF THE KIM OF N KOREA A COMMUNIST RED READY AND WAITING TO CROSS THE BORDER TO STEAL EVERYTHING FROM THE CAPITALIST S KOREA - THUS EXPLAIN THE PUTIN WILL NOT STOP TRADE WITH THE BUDDY KIM OF N KOREA SINCE BOTH AGENDA OF PREPARATION OF ATTACK FIRST IS THE SAME IN WESTERN EUROPE AND EAST ASIA

The world is more dangerous today than it has been in a generation, the head of Nato has said, days before the mobilisation of an estimated 100,000 Russian troops on the EU’s eastern borders, and as a nuclear crisis grows on the Korean peninsula.
Jens Stoltenberg, secretary general of the military alliance, said the sheer number of converging threats was making the world increasingly perilous.
Asked in a Guardian interview whether he had known a more dangerous time in his 30-year career, Stoltenberg said: “It is more unpredictable, and it’s more difficult because we have so many challenges at the same time.
“We have proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in North Korea, we have terrorists, instability, and we have a more assertive Russia,” Stoltenberg said during a break from visiting British troops stationed in Estonia. “It is a more dangerous world.”
From next Thursday, over six days, Russian and Belarusian troops will take part in what is likely to be Moscow’s largest military exercise since the cold war. An estimated 100,000 soldiers, security personnel and civilian officials, will be active around the Baltic Sea, western Russia, Belarus and the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, without the supervision required under international agreement.
On the other side of the world, in the face of local protests, the South Korean government has deployed the controversial US Thaad missile defence system as it looked to counter potential future attacks from North Korea, which recently launched a ballistic missile over Japan, threatened the US Pacific territory of Guam and tested a possible thermonuclear device.
Donald Trump has threatened to unleash “fire and fury” on the North Koreans should further threats be made against the US, and kept up the threat on Thursday, saying he is building up US military power.
“It’s been tens of billions of dollars more in investment. And each day new equipment is delivered – new and beautiful equipment, the best in the world, the best anywhere in the world, by far,” Trump said. “Hopefully we’re not going to have to use it on North Korea. If we do use it on North Korea, it will be a very sad day for North Korea.”

President Moon Jae-in‘s push to raise pressure on North Korea to a “new dimension” appears to have hit a wall with Russian President Vladimir Putin effectively ruling out further sanctions.

Following a summit meeting with Moon in Vladivostok on Wednesday, Putin reiterated his view that sanctions are not the solution.

In addition, Putin effectively rejected Moon’s suggestion of cutting off oil supply to North Korea.

“No matter how much pressure is applied, North Korea will not give up its nuclear (weapons program) to safeguard security,” Putin was quoted as saying by Seoul’s chief presidential press officer Yoon Young-chan.

According to Yoon, Putin reiterated that Russia’s oil exports to North Korea were negligible compared to its overall oil exports, and raised concerns that such a move would impact North Korean civilians.

“We oppose and condemn North Korea’s nuclear program. But, we have the concern that stopping oil supply would affect North Korean hospitals, and the private sector.”

SOON TO BE THE REPUBLICAN POTUS TRUMP DECISION TO KICK DACA KIDS OUT OF THE USA IS LEFT FOR CONGRESS TO DECIDE IN 2017 AS THE USA NO LONGER WELCOMES CHILDREN OF SO CALLED ILLEGALS IN THE USA - AS THE HOPE OF LIFE LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS IN THE LAND OF LIBERTY MAY SLAM THE DOORS AGAINST THEM

President Donald Trump has decided to end the Obama-era program that grants work permits to undocumented immigrants who arrived in the country as children, according to two sources familiar with his thinking. Senior White House aides huddled Sunday afternoon to discuss the rollout of a decision likely to ignite a political firestorm — and fulfill one of the president’s core campaign promises.
The administration’s deliberations on the issue have been fluid and fast moving, and the president has faced strong warnings from members of his own party not to scrap the program.
Trump has wrestled for months with whether to do away with the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, known as DACA. But conversations with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who argued that Congress — rather than the executive branch — is responsible for writing immigration law, helped persuade the president to terminate the program and kick the issue to Congress, the two sources said.

THE LEFTIST POSK MOON POLICY OF APPEASEMENT IS NO LONGER SHINING HALF OR FULL MOON BUT MAY HAVE GONE DARK MOON AGAINST THE KIM OF N KOREA ROGUE ACTION TO PURSUE THE KIM BALLISTIC ICBM HYDROGEN NUCLEAR PURSUIT OF SUICIDAL MEANS - AS MILITARY ACTION WINS THE WAY AS N KOREA TEST ITS 6TH NUCLEAR BOMB AND ANOTHER ICBM TEST IN THE WINGS

Seoul’s North Korean policies will shift to give military issues more weight as President Moon Jae-in seeks punitive measures “of the highest order” following Sunday’s nuclear test, it was revealed Monday.

Speaking to the parliamentary defense committee, Minister of National Defense Song Young-moo said that the shift was decided at Sunday’s National Security Council meeting.

“At yesterday’s NSC meeting, the consensus was that the direction the government should take is strengthening (readiness in the) military standoff rather than (focusing) on dialogue or the Berlin initiative,” Song said.

THE US RESPONSE TO THE OH NO YOU DIDN'T KIM NORTH KOREA 6TH NUCLEAR TEST IS NOTHING BUT TOTAL ANNIHILATION OF THE HERMIT AND HIS KINGDOM AS THE US IS READY TO DEFEND AND PROTECT ITS ALLY JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA

The Trump White House on Sunday quickly and aggressively escalated its tense standoff with North Korea, warning Kim Jong Un that the United States has the ability to enact “total annihilation” of the Hermit Kingdom.
After huddling with President Donald Trump at the White House, Defense Secretary James Mattis emerged with a hawkish statement hours after the North conducted another nuclear test. Mattis, a retired Marine Corps four-star general, said Trump wanted to briefed on the “many military options” the Pentagon has to address the North Korea situation.
“We made clear that we have the ability to defend ourselves and our allies, South Korea and Japan, from any attack,” Mattis said of the U.S. military. “And our commitment among the allies is ironclad: Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam, or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming.
“Kim Jong Un should take heed of the United Nations Security Council’s unified voice — all members unanimously agreed on the threat North Korea poses and they remain unanimous on their commitment to the de-nuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,” he said, then concluding the prepared statement with what sounded like a threat of an armed conflict unless Kim changes his behavior in a major way.

A 1600 YEAR OLD TILE MOSAIC DISCOVERED IN BRITAIN WEST BERKSHIRE

A Roman mosaic packed with mythical characters and beasts based on classical legend has been unearthed at a dig in Boxford, West Berkshire.
The 1,600-year-old find has been described as 'the most exciting mosaic discovery made in Britain in the last 50 years.'
The 6m-long mosaic, from 380 CE, was found by amateur archaeologists and historians, supervised by Cotswold Archaeology.

ANOTHER POSSIBLE NUCLEAR TEST MIGHT BE THE HYDROGEN NUCLEAR BOMB FROM NORTH KOREA AS A 5.6 TO 6.4 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE DETECTED AROUND N KOREA NUCLEAR TEST SITE - THIS BECOMES ITS 6TH NUCLEAR TEST

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake was detected around North Korea's nuclear test site Sunday, South Korea's military said, in an indication of a possible nuclear test.
An artificial quake wave was detected around the Punggye-ri site in the North Hamgyeong Province, according to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The military said it is analyzing whether the temblor came from a nuke test.
Seoul's weather agency said that the seismic wave was recorded at 12:36 p.m.
South Korea's presidential office said that North Korea may have conducted its sixth nuclear test. It called for a meeting of the National Security Council.
It came hours after North Korea claimed that it has developed a hydrogen bomb that can be loaded into a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
Since 2006, North Korea has carried out five nuclear tests, including two last year.

JAPAN'S LARGEST WARSHIP IZUMO WITH 9 ATTACK HELICOPTERS GOES ON A MANEUVER TOUR OF THE SOUTH SEA LAST MARCH

Japan plans to dispatch its largest warship on a three-month tour through the South China Sea beginning in May, three sources said, in its biggest show of naval force in the region since World War II.
China claims almost all the disputed waters and its growing military presence has fuelled concern in Japan and the West, with the United States holding regular air and naval patrols to ensure freedom of navigation.
The Izumo helicopter carrier, commissioned only two years ago, will make stops in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka before joining the Malabar joint naval exercise with Indian and US naval vessels in the Indian Ocean in July.

PEGGY WHITSON BECOMES THE LONGEST US ASTRONAUT TO LIVE IN SPACE WITH 665 DAYS UNDER HER BELT - AS THE LONGEST COSMONAUT ALSO RETURNED WITH HER FYODOR YURCHIKHIN WITH 673 DAYS

Astronaut Peggy Whitson returned to Earth late Saturday, wrapping up a record-breaking flight that catapulted her to first place for US space endurance.

Whitson's 665 days off the planet _ 288 days on this mission alone _ exceeds that of any other American and any other woman worldwide.

She checked out of the International Space Station just hours earlier, along with another American and a Russian. Their Soyuz capsule landed in Kazakhstan shortly after sunrise Sunday _ Saturday night back in the US

She set multiple other records while in orbit: world's oldest spacewoman, at age 57, and most experienced female spacewalker, with 10. She also became the first woman to command the space station twice following her launch last November.

Returning cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin logged even more time in space: 673 days over five missions. NASA astronaut Jack Fischer returned after 136 days aloft. The men flew up in April.

THE NORTH KIM KOREA IS ON A SUICIDE MISSION WITH HIS COUNTRY AS HE PLEDGES A NUCLEAR ATTACK WITH THE THERMO NUCLEAR HYDROGEN BOMB NEWLY DEVELOPED AGAINST THE LONE COUNTRY THAT DROPPED NOT ONE BUT TWO ATOMIC BOMBS ON JAPAN'S NAGASAKI AND HEROSHIMA - AS THE USA IS NOT ONE TO HOLD BACK WHEN A ROGUE COUNTRY PLEDGES DESTRUCTION IN THE OPEN WITH A NUCLEAR ATTACK AND THE USA IS NOT ONE TO HOLD BACK WITH TOTAL NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION IF CALLED UPON TO DECIDE TO USE AGAINST NORTH KOREA FIRST BEFORE IT ATTACKS US

NORTH Korea has developed a hydrogen bomb which can be loaded into the country’s new intercontinental ballistic missile, the official Korean Central News Agency claimed Sunday. Questions remain over whether nuclear-armed Pyongyang has successfully miniaturised its weapons, and whether it has a working H-bomb, but KCNA said that leader Kim Jong-Un had inspected such a device at the Nuclear Weapons Institute. It was a “thermonuclear weapon with super explosive power made by our own efforts and technology”, KCNA cited Kim as saying, and “all components of the H-bomb were 100 percent domestically made”.

THE GOP BACK WHEN WAS SO OUTRAGED ABOUT INCREASING THE DEBT CEILING UNDER THE POTUS BHO FOR 8 YEARS AND NOW THAT A GOP POTUS TRUMP IS IN THE OVAL OFFICE WHAT WE GET IS DEAD SILINCE - EXPECT A DEBT CEILING RAISED TO GROW THE DEBT HIGHER AND HIGHER THIS FALL SESSION OF THE 2017 CONGRESS

A senior Trump administration official guaranteed Friday a debt ceiling hike will occur next month and prevent a potentially damaging federal default.
“The debt ceiling will be raised,” Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said, adding he has had talks with congressional leaders about how to get a bill raising America’s borrowing limit to President Donald Trump’s desk.
Mnuchin described White House officials and congressional leaders as “all on the same page,” adding: “The government intends to pay [its] debts.”[Trump Tries to Embarrass Another GOP Senator Via Twitter]
“I am 100 percent confident,” Mnuchin said of a debt-ceiling hike, adding he cannot see “any scenario” under which “the government won’t pay its bills.”
Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also have expressed confidence that lawmakers will indeed pass a debt ceiling-hiking measure next month. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer want to raise the borrowing limit with no dramatics.

DON'T EXPECT 2017 SMARTPHONES TO BE CHEAPER- AS NEW OPTIONS BETTER PERFORMANCE MEANS MORE OUT OF YOUR POCKET TO PUT THESE NEW SMARTPHONES IN YOUR POCKET

EXPECT this year’s smartphones to take better photos, run more powerful apps, offer faster downloads, and deliver bigger, better screens.
But you should also expect to pay significantly more for them, as experts warn the pocket-sized devices are set to hit our pockets harder than ever in 2017.
The warning follows Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 launch in New York this week, which saw the world’s leading smartphone maker unveil its most expensive handset yet.
The device will cost $1499 when it arrives in stores on September 22 — $150 more than last year’s Note and $300 more than Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S8 released earlier this year.

But Telsyte managing director Foad Fadaghi said Samsung would not be the only major smartphone company lifting its prices well beyond the $1000 threshold.
“This year we’re going to see the re-emergence of the premium smartphone market,” Mr Fadaghi predicted.
“We’ll see a number of handsets at a very high price point.”

WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY OF NO SECURITY IN YOUR OWN HOME OR PROPERTY AS WARRANTLESS SEARCH AND SIEZURE HAS BEEN GRANTED BY THE US CONGRESS AND SIGNED INTO LAW BY THE REPUBLICAN POTUS TRUMP IN DC, VA AND MD FOR NOW UNDER THE GUISE OF THE METRO RAIL SYSTEM NEAR PROPERTY - CLEARLY AGAINST THE 4TH AMENDMENT - YET THE SO CALLED IGNORAMUS CONGRESS THUS ALLOW ONCE AGAIN TO SUBJUGATE AND SUPPRESS ANOTHER FREEDOM FROM ITS PEOPLE

A bill that will allow homes to be searched without a warrant was passed with overwhelming support by the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Trump—and it happened with no media coverage and very little fanfare.
On the surface, House Joint Resolution 76 looks harmless. The title of the bill claims that its purpose is Granting the consent and approval of Congress for the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Maryland, and the District of Columbia to enter into a compact relating to the establishment of the Washington Metrorail Safety Commission.”
“Whereas the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, an interstate compact agency of the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the State of Maryland, provides transportation services to millions of people each year, the safety of whom is paramount; Whereas an effective and safe Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority system is essential to the commerce and prosperity of the National Capital region; Whereas the Tri-State Oversight Committee, created by a memorandum of understanding amongst these 3 jurisdictions, has provided safety oversight of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.”
The proposal for a safety commission to act as a wing of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority may sound logical, when its power includes thing such as the ability to Adopt, revise, and distribute a written State Safety Oversight Program” and to “Review, approve, oversee, and enforce the adoption and implementation of WMATA’s Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan.”

However, there is one major red flag buried within the text of the bill that stems from the list of “powers” given to the Washington Metrorail Safety Commission, and it violates one of the basic tenets of the U.S. Constitution.
“In performing its duties, the Commission, through its Board or designated employees or agents, may:Enter upon the WMATA Rail System and, upon reasonable notice and a finding by the chief executive officer that a need exists, upon any lands, waters, and premises adjacent to the WMATA Rail System, including, without limitation, property owned or occupied by the federal government, for the purpose of making inspections, investigations, examinations, and testing as the Commission may deem necessary to carry out the purposes of this MSC Compact, and such entry shall not be deemed a trespass.”
The text gives the Commission the authority to enter property near the Metro Rail System “without limitation” and without a warrant, for the purpose of “making inspections, investigations, examinations, and testing.”
This clearly goes against the Fourth Amendment, which states that Americans’ rights to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause.”

VIETJET PROMISES FULL CLOTHING FOR ITS FLIGHT ATTENDANT ATTIRE WITH ITS MAIDEN AIR ROUTE FROM HO CHI MINH CITY TO THE MUSLIM COUNTRY OF JAKARTA INDONESIA

LOW-COST Vietnamese carrier VietJet has been cornered into assuring Indonesia that its flight attendants will be fully clothed when it makes its maiden flight to Jakarta.
The airline’s announcement that it will launch a direct route from Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta was shrouded in controversy because of a divisive PR-stunt by the airline in 2012.
The airline was fined 20 million Dong — about $A1100 — when it hosted a mid-flight dance by bikini-clad beauty pageant contestants without first gaining permission from the nation’s aviation authorities.
Five women, all candidates in a local beauty contest, performed the three-minute Hawaiian-themed dance while passengers recorded the show on camera phones and later posted clips online.
The controversial in-flight entertainment was to celebrate its maiden flight between Ho Chi Minh City and the tourist hub of Nha Trang.

SAMSUNG'S 3 GENERATION OF OWNERSHIP LIKE GRANDFATHER LIKE FATHER LIKE SON - ALL CONVICTED OR CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION AND EMBEZZLEMENT - FROM LEE BYUNG CHUL TO LEE KUN HEE AND LEE JAE YONG -

History repeats itself.

Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong's conviction on multiple corruption charges on Friday has brought back memories of the humiliation that has haunted the nation's biggest business empire's owner family for three generations.

The Seoul Central District Court sentenced Lee, 49, to five years in prison on Friday. He was found guilty of bribery, embezzlement, concealment of criminal proceeds, illegal overseas asset transfer and perjury in a massive corruption scandal that led to the ouster of former President Park Geun-hye.

The court said Lee is believed to have been involved in Samsung's provision of 7.2 billion won ($6.38 million) in bribes for the equestrian training of the daughter of Park's longtime friend and confidante Choi Soon-sil.

Lee's lawyer said he will appeal the ruling.

Since 1966

It started in 1966 when the progenitor of Samsung, Lee Byung-chul, was forced to step down to take responsibility for the "saccharin smuggling scandal."

His second son was caught smuggling 50 tons of saccharin into the country as construction material. Then President Park Chung-hee ordered an investigation and Lee faced the risk of being prosecuted. But the street-smart businessman knew how to survive. Lee "donated" his fertilizer plant to the government and "voluntarily" stepped down as the firm's CEO. In return, Lee avoided prosecution.Nearly three decades later, the specter of prosecution came to Lee's son, Kun-hee.

Lee Kun-hee, 75, chairman of Samsung Electronics, has been in hospital after a heart attack in May 2014. He received a suspended jail term in 1995 for paying bribes to former presidents Chun Doo-hwan and Roh Tae-woo.

IT NOW BECOMES CLEAR WHY THE JEWISH COMMUNITY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SUSPICIOUS OF REPUBLICANS CONSIDER WHEN THE VERY NATURE OF WHITE SUPREMACISTS RUNNING OVER MULTIPLE ANTI FASCIST GROUP MEMBERS AND KILLING A PERSON A WOMAN IN THE PROCESS AT THAT AND ALL RHETORIC FROM THE POTUS TRUMP IS BOTH SIDES AT FAULT IN CHARLOTTSVILLE - BRINGS ONE TO UNDERSTAND WHY CEOS ARE FLEEING AND GARY COHN RETORTS THE WHITE WASHING OF THE WHITE SUPREMACIST TERRORIST ACTION AGAINST US AMERICANS - WHERE SUCH ACTION REQUIRES GREATER CONDEMNATIONS FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THIS UNITED STATES

Gary Cohn, President Donald Trump's top economic adviser, has criticized the White House's response to Charlottesville, Virginia, in his first public remarks about the deadly violence earlier this month.
"This administration can and must do better in consistently and unequivocally condemning these groups and do everything we can to heal the deep divisions that exist in our communities," Cohn told the Financial Times.
Cohn said he felt compelled "to voice my distress over the events of the last two weeks."
Cohn, who is Jewish, was reportedly "disgusted" and "appalled" with Trump's response to white nationalists' role in the violence in Charlottesville. The president blamed "both sides" for the violence, which left one counterprotester dead.
"Citizens standing up for equality and freedom can never be equated with white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK," Cohn told the FT.
After Trump's remarks, Cohn said, he felt "enormous pressure" both to resign and to stay in the administration. But he told the FT he was "reluctant" to leave based on a "commitment" to the American people.
False rumors that Cohn was leaving the White House after Trump's remarks spooked Wall Street, appearing to spark a sharp dip in the S&P 500.
As Business Insider's Bob Bryan notes:
"Finance-focused political analysts warned after the rumors that there could be a serious loss of investor confidence if Cohn were to depart Trump's administration. Some observers doubt the business-friendly and economically stimulative policies on taxes and infrastructure promised by Trump can actually materialize without Cohn in the White House."
Trump's Treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin, who also is Jewish, also faced pressure to resign following the president's remarks.
Nearly 400 of Mnuchin's Yale University classmates signed a letter strongly urging him to resign.
Mnuchin, however, put out a statement actively defending his boss.
"While I find it hard to believe I should have to defend myself on this, or the president, I feel compelled to let you know that the president in no way, shape or form, believes that neo-Nazi and other hate groups who endorse violence are equivalent to groups that demonstrate in peaceful and lawful ways," Mnuchin wrote.

SAMSUNG HEIR LEE JAE-YONG GETS READY FOR HIS VERDICT THIS FRIDAY ON CHARGES OF CORRUPTION AS THE SAMSUNG NOTE 8 GETS ITS DAY TO SHINE

On the eve of the court’s Friday ruling on Samsung’s de facto leader, tension mounted in South Korea’s corporate community over how the tycoon’s fate would impact the future of the world’s largest producer of smartphones and microchips.

On 2:30 p.m. Friday, a local court in Seoul is to deliver its ruling on Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, who is accused of five charges including bribery, flight of capital and embezzlement. The court decided to deliver the verdict without live coverage.

A special counsel has requested the court to sentence Lee to 12 years in jail, claiming that he provided financial assistance worth 43 billion won ($38 million) to the daughter of former President Park Geun-hye’s longtime friend in exchange for business favors.

THE NEW JERSEY SENATOR ROBERT MENENDEZ (D-NJ) READY TO GO TO TRIAL SEPTEMBER 6TH ON CORRUPTION CHARGES

This year, the Senate has demonstrated the importance of a single vote. Betsy DeVos’s controversial confirmation as education secretary happened only with the tiebreaking vote of Vice President Pence. In late March, Pence again broke a tie on legislation limiting federal funds to abortion providers.
And last month, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) defeated the GOP’s effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act with a single flick of his thumb.
There’s more on the way. Later this fall, President Trump’s agenda could be impeded by a one-man blockade, Sen. Robert Menendez, who by then could be a felon.
The trial of the New Jersey Democrat, indicted two years ago on corruption charges, is set to begin Sept. 6 in a federal courthouse in Newark. A 12-person jury was seated this week. The trial is expected to last well into October; by Halloween, Menendez could be the first sitting senator in nine years to become a felon.

THE ARLEIGH BURKE USS FITZGERALD COLLISION WITH A PHILIPPINE CARGO SHIP NAVAL INVESTIGATION IS IN - PUNISHMENT TO BE HANDED DOWN TO THE OFFICERS OF THE US NAVAL VESSEL - THAT KILLED 7 SAILORS IN ITS WAKE

About a dozen U.S. sailors are expected to face punishment for a collision in June between the USS Fitzgerald and a Philippines cargo ship, including the warship's commanding officer and other senior leaders of the ship, the Navy said on Thursday. Admiral Bill Moran, deputy chief of naval operations, told reporters the ship's commanding officer, executive officer and master chief petty officer would be removed from the vessel because "we've lost trust and confidence in their ability to lead."

Moran said that in total, close to a dozen sailors would face administrative punishment and left open the possibility for further action.

Multiple U.S. and Japanese investigations are underway into how the USS Fitzgerald, a guided missile destroyer, and the much larger ACX Crystal container ship collided in clear weather south of Tokyo Bay in the early hours of June 17.
The Navy also released a report that provided new details of the crash and its aftermath.
The collision tore a gash below the Fitzgerald's waterline, killing seven sailors in what was the greatest loss of life on a U.S. Navy vessel since the USS Cole was bombed in Yemen's Aden harbor in 2000.

THE VERDICT IS FINALLY IN ON THE EX DJ KYGO-FM DAVID MUELLER AKA GROPER GRABBING WHERE YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS AREA OF TAYLOR SWIFT - IN WHICH WOMEN POWER WINS THE DAY AGAINST MALE CHAUVINISTS

THE former radio DJ found guilty of sexually assaulting Taylor Swift at a concert in 2013 has said he’s on the verge of taking some very extreme measures in the wake of his conviction.
At a backstage meet-and-greet before Swift’s concert at Denver’s Pepsi Arena back in 2013, radio DJ David Mueller and his girlfriend at the time posed with the then-23-year-old singer where Mueller grabbed Swift’s buttocks.

Immediately after the photo was taken, a distressed Swift reported the incident to her team, including her mother Andrea Swift.
Andrea reported the incident to KYGO-FM, the country radio station where Mueller was a morning host and earning $US150,000 a year at his self-described “dream job”.

N KOREA KIM BLINKS FOR NOW IN ITS ATTEMPT TO ATTACK A US TERRITORY GUAM - AS THE KIM HOLDS BACK PLANS OF THE 4 MISSILE LAUNCH TOWARDS GUAM - DEFFUSING THE CRISIS FOR NOW

North Korea said Tuesday that leader Kim Jong Un was briefed on his military’s plans to launch missiles into waters near Guam as part of an effort to create “enveloping fire” near the US military hub in the Pacific.

The comments, while typically belligerent, are significant because they appeared to signal a path to defuse a deepening crisis with Washington over a weapons program that is seen as having the ability to be able to send a nuclear missile to the US mainland.

During an inspection of the army’s Strategic Forces, Kim praised the military for drawing up a “close and careful plan” and said he would watch the “foolish and stupid conduct of the Yankees” a little more before deciding whether to give an order for the missile test, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency said.

USA TO GO WAR IF AND WHEN N KOREA TO ATTACK A US TERRITORY - AS N KOREA TO MISSILE STRIKE GUAM THIS AUGUST 2017

U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis reassured Americans Monday that Guam is well protected in the face of North Korea's threats.
But he also told reporters there could be war if North Korea follows through with its threat to launch ballistic missiles toward the U.S. territory.
"Guam is well protected," he said, without giving details, on an unannounced visit to the Pentagon's press room.
On how the U.S. would respond to an attack on Guam, he said, "I don't talk hypotheticals. The president has been very clear."

HOW CAN EGGS BECOME CONTAMINATED WITH INSECTICIDE FIPRONIL - AS NETHERLAND EGGS IMPORTED IN THE UK HAVE BEEN

Around 700,000 potentially contaminated eggs have been imported into Britain from Dutch farms, according to the Food Standards Agency.

The affected eggs have been contaminated with an insecticide called Fipronil.

A The affected eggs originate from around 180 farms in the Netherlands that bought poultry from a supplier which used an illegal insecticide to treat red mite in chickens. The chemical, called fipronil, is not authorised for use as a veterinary medicine or pesticide around food producing animals as it can make its way into birds and eggs.

A The FSA has said it is “unlikely” that eating infected eggs would pose a threat to human health. It told the Daily Telegraph that it is up to consumers to decide if they want to eat contaminated food or not.
In large quantities, fipronil is considered to be “moderately hazardous”, according to the World Health Organisation.

HOW SINGAPORE AN ISLAND BRINGS FRESH WATER TO ITS PEOPLE BENEFITNG HUMANITY WITH FRESH WATER CREATION TECHNOLOGY

Two-thirds of Singapore’s land area is used for water catchment. Increasing the water catchment area will be challenging and costly given our urban density.
A comprehensive network of drains, canals and rivers channel rainfall to Singapore’s 17 reservoirs for storage.

Singapore imports water from Malaysia under the 1962 Water Agreement, which allows us the full and exclusive right to draw up to 250 million gallons of water per day (mgd) from the Johor River. The Agreement will expire in 2061.

Singapore has 5 NEWater plants which further purify treated used water to produce ultra-clean water. This process requires the use of advanced membrane and ultraviolet disinfection technologies, which makes producing NEWater costly.

Desalination is the process of using reverse osmosis to produce pure drinking water, by pushing seawater through membranes to remove dissolved salts and minerals.
We currently have 2 desalination plants, and 3 new plants will be built by 2020.

SOUTH KOREANS ARE PREPARING FOR THE WORST AS THEY BORDER THE COMMUNIST KIM N KOREA - UNLIKE THE STORM THAT NATURE BRINGS THIS ONE IS MAN MADE AS A GIFT FROM THE KIM - AS TALKS OF WAR AND RUMORS OF WAR ESCALATE FROM THE RED NATION TONGUE

South Koreans are buying more ready to eat meals and the government plans to expand nation-wide civil defence drills planned for this month as rhetoric between North Korea and the United States ramps up tension.
Long used to living within the range of North Korea's artillery, people in the South have generally ignored its aggressiveness and series of nuclear and long-range missile tests.
But this week, as Pyongyang exchanged increasingly angry words with the United States, there are worries of a clash erupting along the heavily militarised frontier which divides the two Koreas.

Combat Ration Inc, which makes 2 billion won ($1.75 million) of annual revenue selling ready to eat meals, said sales had surged as much as 50 percent in the past week compared to the average.

"Since 2006, when North Korea first conducted its nuclear test, there wasn't this much response as people became immune to frequent missile launches and nuclear tests," said Yoon Hee Yeul, the chief executive of Combat Ration, based in the south-eastern city of Daegu.
"I feel it's different this time," said Yoon, who's been in the business since 2004.

JAPAN GETS READY ITS OWN MISSILE INTERCEPTORS LEAVES NOTHING TO CHANCE - AS THE KIM MISSILE FLYOVER CROSSES JAPAN'S TERRITORY - THE KIM DOES WHAT THE KIM DO THUS IRREGARDLESS OF OTHER SOVERIEGN NATION IN THE WAKE- THE COMMUNIST MOTTO

Japan is deploying missile interceptor units in western parts of the country in response to North Korea's plans to fire missiles toward the US Pacific territory of Guam.

North Korea says its ballistic missiles will fly over the 3 prefectures of Shimane, Hiroshima and Kochi before landing in waters off Guam.

Air Self-Defense Force units in charge of PAC3 interceptor missiles left for their destinations on Friday night. They are expected to arrive at 4 SDF camps in the 3 prefectures and neighboring Ehime Prefecture on Saturday morning.

The units will install radar systems and launchers to prepare for the eventuality that missile parts will fall into the areas.

The Maritime Self-Defense Force is deploying a vessel in the Sea of Japan. The vessel is equipped with the Aegis advanced radar system that can track ballistic missiles.

WHILST THE FREE WORLD CREATES A FOUNDATION FOR GROWTH OF HUMANITY - THE KIM CRAB HERMIT OF N KOREA GOES FOR ITS DESTRUCTION - AS TALK OF WAR WITH MISSILES RAINING DOWN ON US TERRITORY IS ALL THE NORTH KOREANS CAN PRODUCE TO BETTER THE WORLD WE LIVE IN - AS THE KIM TO DECLARE THE FIRST MATCH STRIKE OF WAR TO LIGHT UP WW3

With the intensifying war of words between North Korea and the US, concerns are growing in Seoul and Washington over a possible US pre-emptive strike.

In response to North Korea’s second round of threats of “enveloping fire” around the US territory of Guam, US President Donald Trump ramped up his remarks Thursday, saying his recent warning that the US would retaliate with “fire and fury” may not have been tough enough for the reclusive state.

He added that the North’s current actions and “what they’ve been getting away with” cannot be further allowed.

Trump’s aggressive rhetoric against the North has been fueling worries within the US Congress and prompted a phone call between South Korea and US national security leaders.

On Thursday, 62 US Democrats of the House of Representatives signed a letter expressing “profound concern” over Trump’s escalating rhetoric against Pyongyang.

The letter organized by Rep. John Conyers asks US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson “to do everything” in his power to remind Trump that his position requires him to act and speak with the “utmost caution and restraint on this delicate issue.”

It also called for the US president to acknowledge the power of the constitution and seek its approval before launching war.

THE FUTURE OF WIFI TERAHERTZ IS UPON US AS BROWN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING IN PROVIDENCE, RI DEMONSTRATE THE NEW ULTRAFAST TRANSMISSION RATE

Ultrafast wi-fi, which is 100 times quicker than today’s mobile networks is on the horizon, after scientists proved they could send complex data using high-frequency radiation.
The researchers sent video signals using terahertz, rather than traditional microwaves, at speeds of 50 gigabytes per second. Most wireless networks only operate at top speeds of 500 megabytes a second.
The breakthrough could lead to high-speed streaming on the go.

"We showed that we can transmit separate data streams on terahertz waves at very high speeds and with very low error rates," said Daniel Mittleman, a professor in Brown University's School of Engineering, in Providence, US.
"This is the first time anybody has characterized a terahertz multiplexing system using actual data, and our results show that our approach could be viable in future terahertz wireless networks."
Current voice and data networks use microwaves to carry signals wirelessly, but demand is outstripping capacity so scientists have been looking at new bandwidths.

SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN (R-AZ) AND SENATOR CHUCK SCHUMER (D-NY) ARE IN AGREEMENT ALONG WITH THE GANG OF 8 FOR A COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM THAT WOULD FOR FAIR NEGOTIATION PROVIDE THE BARGAINING CHIP TO BUILD A SECURITY WALL FOR THE GOP POTUS TRUMP ACROSS MEXICO THAT DETERS IMMIGRANTS FROM CROSSING THE BORDER LINE FOR LIFE AND THE PURSUIT THEREOF INCLUDING FREEDOM WITH HAPPINESS JUST SO AMERICANS TOO CAN HAVE THE LIKES OF THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA THAT KEPT THE MONGOLS AT BAY

.......In the meeting with the newspaper's editorial board, McCain said Schumer is in agreement about the need to return to immigration reform.
"Basically it's what we passed last time, brought up to date with the new challenges, like opioids," McCain said. "It's still there. We got 68 votes, I think, the last time. I don't think that's going to be any different next time."
One longtime champion of comprehensive immigration reform applauded McCain's return to the fray, despite the long odds.
"It's difficult to imagine Trump signing a comprehensive immigration reform bill because he's so focused on stoking his base," said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the liberal-leaning national pro-reform organization America's Voice.
"But you can see how more and more people are moving away from Trump as his poll ratings sink, as his lying becomes endemic, and his temperament is so obviously juvenile," he said. "It's conceivable that a group of bipartisan-minded Republicans in the Senate can make common cause with bipartisan-minded Democrats."
McCain would be the natural leader of such a movement, Sharry said.
In 2013, McCain and Schumer led the bipartisan Gang of Eight, which also consisted of Republican Sens. Jeff Flake of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and Marco Rubio of Florida, and Democratic Sens. Dick Durbin of Illinois, Michael Bennet of Colorado and Robert Menendez of New Jersey.
Their legislation aimed to balance border security with a pathway to citizenship and a modernized visa system.

AFTER THE UK ALLAHU AKBAR AND NOW GERMANY HAS ITS OWN ALLAHU AKBAR WITH A TRUCK DRIVER RUNNING OVER A CHRISTMAS GATHERING KILLING 12 IN BERLIN, TO A SUICIDE BOMB ATTACK INJURING 15 IN ANSBACH, AN AXE WIELDING ATTACK IN A TRAIN IN BAVARIA 5 INJURED, AND NOW A SUPER MARKET KILLER WITH A KITCHEN KNIFE KILLING 1 PERSON IN HAMBURG GERMANY

A man wielding a large kitchen knife killed one and wounded four others after storming into a supermarket in the German city of Hamburg.
The attacker is reported to have screamed 'Allahu Akbar' before running into the Edeka shop where he stabbed one person and slashed at four others while trying to flee.
He was pursued by passers-by who wrestled him to the ground and called the police, who later arrested him.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Saturday proposed a set of tough countermeasures against North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch, including the deployment of additional THAAD launchers, according to his office.

Presiding over an emergency National Security Council (NSC) session, Moon ordered consultations with the United States on ways to bolster "strategic deterrence" against the North, his chief press secretary, Yoon Young-chan, told reporters.

The measures would include a show of the allies' force like a combined ballistic missile exercise and an immediate request for a U.N Security Council meeting to discuss strong sanctions, added Yoon.

Moon convened the NSC meeting shortly after reports of the North's firing of a ballistic missile, which South Korea's military views as an advanced type of ICBM.

Two THAAD interceptor launchers are in operation at a former golf course in Seongju, some 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul, with four others stored at a nearby U.S. military base. American troops here say the THAAD system is a core element in their missile defense against the North's growing threats.  (Yonhap)
