THE KOCH BROTHERS THANK YOU ENOUGH SAID

Americans of all political stripes must stand up and say thank you to David & Charles Koch, billionaires who are the majority shareholders of Koch Industries, an oil, gas, and chemical company which is the second largest private company in America.  Simply by virtue of owning a huge company – which employs so many – these men should be thanked.  (Imagine their tax bill.)

This patriotic family has a family foundation that devotes hundreds of millions to charities, offers tens of thousands of people a chance to prosper, and is the epitome of entrepreneurship, which should be celebrated.  The charities that they donate to include a recent $100 million donation to New York-Presbyterian Hospital and charities devoted to the arts, including the American Ballet Theatre, the New York City Ballet, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the American Museum of Natural History.

….At this time, the Muslim Brotherhood has been outlawed in most Muslim countries, not because they’re peaceful, but because they’re considered TOO radical even in these seemingly radical countries. They’re currently under investigation in Canada the UK and elsewhere, yet here in the United States, they continue to flourish…and now it seems, they’re moving into my own backyard as part of the Tri-Faith Initiative in Omaha, NE.

The relationships between the Muslim Brotherhood and their front groups like ISNA and CAIR are not difficult to track,  they’re actually transparent enough that one might go so far as to consider them to be ‘common knowledge’.  By the way, both ISNA and CAIR are currently ‘unindicted co-conspirators’ in a federal terrorism case.  The relationship between CAIR, ISNA and the Tri-Faith Initiative in Omaha, NE is quite transparent as well.  The Tri-Faith goes so far as to promote the work of both organizations on their website, not to mention inviting the then President of ISNA to speak on their behalf at an inaugural event for the Initiative.  So why doesn’t the media in Nebraska report on these connections?  We can only assume that the mere threat of Islamist litigation makes them cow like a beat dog.  We’ve been denied access to most every traditional form of getting the word out.

JAPAN ORDERS TO STRIKE DOWN ANY NORTH KOREAN BALLISTIC MISSILES–AS JAPAN FIELDS THE PATRIOT ANTI MISSILE AND AEGIS DESTROYERS FOR DEFENSE PURPOSES

Japan has ordered its military in the East Sea to strike any ballistic missiles that may be launched by North Korea in the coming weeks.
Tokyo has grown increasingly nervous after Pyongyang fired two Rodong-class mid-range ballistic missiles over the sea last week.
A government source told Reuters on Saturday that Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera issued the order on Thursday to shoot down any missiles that North Korea launches between now and April 25th.
The source says the minister did not make it public in order to avoid putting a chill on renewed talks between Tokyo and Pyongyang.
The governmental-level talks between North Korea and Japan are the first in almost a year-and-a-half.

In the online-only "Overtime" portion of his HBO show Real Time, host Bill Maher weighed in on the Mozilla controversy, and did not react in a way that you would think. Maher seemed to disagree with gay rights activists for targeting Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich because of a 2008 donation to support a ballot initiative that would ban same-sex marriage in California.
"Well, and he gave it when President Obama was still against gay marriage. So, I don't think it's very fair," guest panelist Carrie Sheffield said.
"Good point," Maher responded.
"I think there is a gay mafia," Maher said. "I think if you cross them, you do get whacked."

The fiercest rivalry in the world of smartphones is heading back to court this week in the heart of the Silicon Valley, with Apple and Samsung accusing each other, once again, of ripping off designs and features.

The trial will mark the latest round in a long-running series of lawsuits between the two tech giants that underscore a much larger concern about what is allowed to be patented.

"There's a widespread suspicion that lots of the kinds of software patents at issue are written in ways that cover more ground than what Apple or any other tech firm actually invented," Notre Dame law professor Mark McKenna said. "Overly broad patents allow companies to block competition."…….

….."Samsung has been a pioneer in the mobile device business sector since the inception of the mobile device industry," Samsung attorneys wrote. "Apple has copied many of Samsung's innovations in its Apple iPhone, iPod, and iPad products."

In the upcoming case, Apple claims Samsung stole a tap-from-search technology that allows someone searching for a telephone number or address on the Web to tap on the results to call the number or put the address into a map. In addition, Apple says Samsung copied "Slide to Unlock," which allows users to swipe the face of their smartphone to use it.

Samsung countered that Apple is stealing a wireless technology system that speeds up sending and receiving data.

THE 61 YEAR CEASE FIRE ON THE KOREAN PENINSULA GETS THE LATEST PROVOCATION OF 3 HOURS 500 ARTILLERY BARRAGE BY THE NORTH AND FOLLOWED BY A RESPONSE FROM THE SOUTH

The two Koreas exchanged fire across their disputed western sea border on Monday.
It began in the morning with North Korean live-fire drills near the Northern Limit Line.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea fired some five-hundred artillery shells in the waters north of the Northern Limit Line, and nearly a hundred of those fell in South Korean waters near Baengnyeongdo Island, some more than 3-kilometers south of the border.
South Korean forces immediately retaliated, firing some 3-hundred artillery shells across the NLL with K-9 self-propelled howitzers.
They also dispatched F-15K fighter jets to the area.
Thousands of residents on Baengnyeongdo Island, who were forced to take to shelter during the three hours of artillery exchanges, have since returned to their homes.
The Northern Limit Line is the disputed maritime border off the western coast of the Korean peninsula, where several skirmishes have taken place over the years, including the shelling of Yeonpyeongdo island in 2010.
