President Obama does not play well with others, particularly when it comes to deciding who will control his legacy piece of legislation, the Affordable Care Act.
On Wednesday, the House of Representatives passed by a 250-160 vote a bill to lower the Obamacare tax-slash-fine to zero dollars for people who don't comply with the individual mandate to participate.
Today, the White House issued a statement saying that if the bill winds up on Obama's desk, he will veto it. He might actually get a chance to do it, too. Given the large margin of the vote and bipartisan support for the bill, it's conceivable that mob boss Harry Reid might allow a vote in the Senate.
Within hours of saying Obama would veto the House bill, which was passed legally in a constitutionally prescribed vote, the Obama Administration announced another illegal, unconstitutional rewriting of the Obamacare law.
This one will allow the millions of voters with health policies that were set to be canceled just before this year's midterm elections to keep those policies until October 2017, after Obama's out of office finally.
Let's see ... if it frees people from being bullied into forking over their cash to the Administration, then vetoed. If it would help the Democrats buy more votes and not actually cost anything, just change it.
Cynical double standard much?
