A 24-year-old salon manager 'froze to death' inside a cryochamber after she accidentally got locked inside the machine and temperatures plummeted to minus 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
Chelsea Ake, the manager of Rejuvenice in Henderson, Nevada, was found dead inside the salon's cryochamber earlier this week by distraught employees, NBC reported.

……Cryotherapy is the local or general use of low temperatures in medical therapy.
It is used to treat a variety of benign and malignant tissue damage and is often used by elite athletes and pro teams for muscle and injury recovery because it aides the daily management of pain, inflammation, energy, and stress related conditions.
Treatments in cryochambers -which typically last just three to four minutes - are known to help burn calories, improve sleep and boost the immune system.
Whole-Body Cryotherapy was initially intended for use in a clinical setting to treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis.
But it has become widely used by clinicians who offer it as an alternative to cold water immersion or ice packs.
The treatment uses extreme cold to stimulate skin sensors which activates the Central Nervous System.
This causes the release of endorphins - the body's natural pain inhibitors and mood elevators.
And as circulation increases throughout the body it decreases inflammation by clearing toxins and metabolic waste with a supply of oxygen and nutrient enriched blood to stimulate cellular regeneration.
