THE EPA IS ON ITS HIGH HORSE IN TEXAS

WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE? I CAN CLAIM VEGETABLE OIL IS LEAKING IN THE GULF AND CAUSING A NATURAL ECO DISASTER. I HAVE NO PROOF BUT SINCE I'm THE EPA WITH SOME FIAT CONTROL YOU MUST REMOVE ALL VEGETABLE OIL FROM ALL STORES.

Range Resources is appealing an order issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that says the Fort Worth-based natural gas producer "caused or contributed to" methane contamination of two residential water wells in the Silverado subdivision in far south Parker County, Texas.

Range contends that two of its deep Barnett Shale natural gas wells south of the subdivision are not the source of the methane found in the water wells, but that the gas instead is from the much-shallower Strawn geological formation, about 400 feet underground, where some gas wells were drilled in the early 1980s.

Range said its own sampling of water wells in the area, as well as other testing, showed no major health risk to justify the order.
In its appeal, the company said EPA filed the order "without notice to Range, without offering Range an opportunity to be heard and without disclosing the evidence on which it relied."

TEXAS WILL NOT BE ROLLED OVER BY THIS OVER REACHING AGENCY. REMEMBER THE ALAMO.

EPA filed the order "without notice to Range, without offering Range an opportunity to be heard and without disclosing the evidence on which it relied... The Justice Department filed a complaint Tuesday in a Dallas federal court against Range, contending that the company failed to comply with all provisions of the EPA order.
