THE ARLEIGH BURKE USS FITZGERALD COLLISION WITH A PHILIPPINE CARGO SHIP NAVAL INVESTIGATION IS IN - PUNISHMENT TO BE HANDED DOWN TO THE OFFICERS OF THE US NAVAL VESSEL - THAT KILLED 7 SAILORS IN ITS WAKE

About a dozen U.S. sailors are expected to face punishment for a collision in June between the USS Fitzgerald and a Philippines cargo ship, including the warship's commanding officer and other senior leaders of the ship, the Navy said on Thursday. Admiral Bill Moran, deputy chief of naval operations, told reporters the ship's commanding officer, executive officer and master chief petty officer would be removed from the vessel because "we've lost trust and confidence in their ability to lead."

Moran said that in total, close to a dozen sailors would face administrative punishment and left open the possibility for further action.

Multiple U.S. and Japanese investigations are underway into how the USS Fitzgerald, a guided missile destroyer, and the much larger ACX Crystal container ship collided in clear weather south of Tokyo Bay in the early hours of June 17.
The Navy also released a report that provided new details of the crash and its aftermath.
The collision tore a gash below the Fitzgerald's waterline, killing seven sailors in what was the greatest loss of life on a U.S. Navy vessel since the USS Cole was bombed in Yemen's Aden harbor in 2000.

THE VERDICT IS FINALLY IN ON THE EX DJ KYGO-FM DAVID MUELLER AKA GROPER GRABBING WHERE YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS AREA OF TAYLOR SWIFT - IN WHICH WOMEN POWER WINS THE DAY AGAINST MALE CHAUVINISTS

THE former radio DJ found guilty of sexually assaulting Taylor Swift at a concert in 2013 has said he’s on the verge of taking some very extreme measures in the wake of his conviction.
At a backstage meet-and-greet before Swift’s concert at Denver’s Pepsi Arena back in 2013, radio DJ David Mueller and his girlfriend at the time posed with the then-23-year-old singer where Mueller grabbed Swift’s buttocks.

Immediately after the photo was taken, a distressed Swift reported the incident to her team, including her mother Andrea Swift.
Andrea reported the incident to KYGO-FM, the country radio station where Mueller was a morning host and earning $US150,000 a year at his self-described “dream job”.

N KOREA KIM BLINKS FOR NOW IN ITS ATTEMPT TO ATTACK A US TERRITORY GUAM - AS THE KIM HOLDS BACK PLANS OF THE 4 MISSILE LAUNCH TOWARDS GUAM - DEFFUSING THE CRISIS FOR NOW

North Korea said Tuesday that leader Kim Jong Un was briefed on his military’s plans to launch missiles into waters near Guam as part of an effort to create “enveloping fire” near the US military hub in the Pacific.

The comments, while typically belligerent, are significant because they appeared to signal a path to defuse a deepening crisis with Washington over a weapons program that is seen as having the ability to be able to send a nuclear missile to the US mainland.

During an inspection of the army’s Strategic Forces, Kim praised the military for drawing up a “close and careful plan” and said he would watch the “foolish and stupid conduct of the Yankees” a little more before deciding whether to give an order for the missile test, the North’s official Korean Central News Agency said.

USA TO GO WAR IF AND WHEN N KOREA TO ATTACK A US TERRITORY - AS N KOREA TO MISSILE STRIKE GUAM THIS AUGUST 2017

U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis reassured Americans Monday that Guam is well protected in the face of North Korea's threats.
But he also told reporters there could be war if North Korea follows through with its threat to launch ballistic missiles toward the U.S. territory.
"Guam is well protected," he said, without giving details, on an unannounced visit to the Pentagon's press room.
On how the U.S. would respond to an attack on Guam, he said, "I don't talk hypotheticals. The president has been very clear."
