DROP IN OIL PRICE FUELING THE NATURAL EARTH GASOLINE COMBUSTION ENGINE EVEN IN KOREA AS THE LION SHARE OF CAR SALES BOOM FROM CHRYSLER, GM, AND JAPAN LUXURY CARS

Japanese and American carmakers are still launching big gas-guzzling premium models. Toyota's high-end brand Lexus is taking pre-orders for the NX200t SUV, and early this month Honda launched the large Legend sedan while Infiniti rolled out the new luxury Q70 sedan.
Chrysler's mid-sedan 200, with a 2 liter gasoline engine, hit the market here early this month and seems mostly distinguished by its swish interior. GM released the mid-sized Cadillac ATS Coupe and Ford the Mustang sports car last month.

Luxury car buyers tend to avoid diesel models because of noise and vibration, said Yoon Dae-sung of Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association. If oil prices keep falling, many of them could go for gasoline models.
