LG Electronics unveiled its new ultra-light 14-inch laptop on Wednesday.
The Gram 14 is equipped with a bigger screen than the 13.3-inch predecessor, but the weight and thickness remain the same at 980 g and 13.4 mm.
The cover is made of carbon magnesium and lithium magnesium -- material typically found in aircraft -- and a high-energy battery provides up to 10.5 hours of operating time.
