Many Democratas have blamed unfounded cases of racism for their aversion to the growing tea party movement. But now, the new House Minority Whip, Steny Hoyer, D-Md., presents the latest presumption about tea partiers: they must come from dysfunctional families:
(TO CALL AN AMERICAN PATRIOT DYSFUNCTIONAL IS LIKE CALLING THE ORIGINAL PATRIOTS UNBECOMING TO FIGHT FOR LIFE LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. HONORABLE HOYER LET ME READ YOU THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE SO THAT YOU SIR MAY KNOW THE BURDEN YOU AND YOUR COHORTS HAVE SET ON THE BACKS OF COMMON AMERICANS.
WHEN in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation.
