2009-2010 LIST OF FAILED BANKS... REMINISCENT OF GREAT DEPRESSION

THE MAIN TRIGGER OF THE LAST GREAT DEPRESSION WAS BANKS DABBLING IN FUTURE INVESTMENTS IN THE STOCK MARKET. WHEN THE MARKET CRASHED IT TOOK DOWN THE BANKING INDUSTRY CREATING THE ECONOMIC CONDITION FOR THE GREAT DEPRESSION. AND DON'T FORGET THAT EXTENDING THE YEARS OF RECOVERY WAS LEGISLATION OF PROTECTIONISM (TARIFFS ON IMPORTS)  IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE CREATING RETALIATION FROM OTHER NATIONS. THUS FDIC WAS CREATED TO PROTECT WE THE PEOPLE.

TODAY THE SAME BEHAVIOR IN INVESTING CAUSED OUR MARKET TO COLLAPSE AND IN THE HEART OF IT WERE THE BANKS.

Most of the banks are acquired, and the cost to the Deposit Insurance Fund, or DIF, which backs up the FDIC's promise to reimburse customers, is listed in the right column.
