"... It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfill the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings."....I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"

In his last ever run at the Olympics, Bolt, anchoring the relay, took the baton less than 1m ahead of rivals America and Japan, but blew away the field to see Jamaica cross the line with a time of 37.27 seconds — the second fastest time ever run.
Jamaica were strong from the starter’s pistol with Asafa Powell appearing to have them in front at the first hand-over.
Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade then took over to have Jamaica neck-and-neck with Japan before Bolt stepped up and created yet another piece of history.
“It really is the end of the most beautiful story in Olympic history,” Channel 7s Bruce McAvaney said.
