You won’t read it in mainstream headlines—but the terrorist Islamic State (ISIS) is preparing for a global holy war. And as U.S. officials continue to downplay the jihadist threat, ISIS is building an army one child at a time.
A UK-based think tank called The Quilliam Foundation just released a shocking report, “Children of the Islamic State,” which details how ISIS is using “sexual jihad” to ensure a new generation of global Islamic terror is on the horizon.
Already, according to the report, ISIS has impregnated 31,000 women within its budding caliphate—some of whom moved there from the Western world after being radicalized via social media—with the children of ISIS fighters both consensually and through rape.
From birth those thousands of children will be programmed to embrace the radical ideology which has made ISIS such an alarming global threat since it began gaining power throughout the Middle East.
Nikita Malik, a senior researcher at Quilliam, explained in an interview with the UK’s The Independent: “What we found very interesting was the reasons why this army is being created. Firstly, children are a completely blank slate and so don’t have the cognitive abilities or the adult decision-making processes, so they can be manipulated because they are vulnerable to do all kinds of things.
“The families play a key role in doing this as well. Mothers play a key role: they read story books on martyrdom to their children at night. The families are teaching them what is right and wrong. This purity angle is very interesting.”
