A FOUR-year-old boy has been kidnapped and beheaded in a horrific human sacrifice to the Hindu Goddess Kali.

The Times of India reported that the little boy was abducted by a villager from his daycare centre in the remote Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh state.

It was when the victims mother went to pick up her son that she realised he wasn’t there and was told he had been taken by 35-year-old Tirumala Rao.

Rao is said to have taken the boy back to his house where he performed the gruesome beheading and collected the boys blood into a bottle so he could offer it to the Hindu Goddess Kali seeking “divine powers”.

When villagers learnt of his alleged crime they tracked down Rao and sought their revenge. Rao was tied to a tree, doused in kerosene and set on fire before village elders rescued him. He was taken to a local hospital with 40 per cent burns to his body.

“We will interrogate Rao once he recovers,” said a local police officer.
