Apple spends almost $700,000 per year on security to protect Tim Cook, new accounts show.
The technology giant, which is worth a reported $700billion, confessed to paying the huge sum for 'home and personal security for Mr Cook because his personal safety [is] of the utmost importance.'
However, that amount is still less than half the $1.6million that Amazon was reported to have paid to keep boss Jeff Bezos safe back in 2013.
