Fleur Pellerin, former secretary of external commerce and tourism, has been named the new culture minister. She replaces Aurélie Filippetti, who openly expressed her support for Montebourg.

Fleur Pellerin, a Korean orphan who was adopted by a French family when she was six months old, was appointed France's culture minister on Wednesday.
This is her third ministerial post in the Socialist-led government after serving as minister for small business and digital economy and secretary for foreign trade and tourism.
The daily Le Monde described Pellerin as a "rising star" in French politics. France earns 57 billion euros a year from culture and tourism, which is seven times more than the French auto industry's revenues and more than twice what the country's electronics and communications industry makes.
