When political policy controls the policy during a war over the ultimate goal of winning at all cause this is the result. The grunts who do the fighting need every support to keep moral and not further be eroded by political policies which does not belong in the front lines. When you put your own life on the line you have every right to speak your beliefs. When congress sits in their cushy job and legislates without thought of who is effected this is pure corruption.
US: No Way to Seal Afghan-Pakistan Border
A U.S. military commander says there's no practical way to seal Afghanistan's vast border with Pakistan and stop all Taliban fighters from slipping through, so troops are focusing on defending vulnerable towns and fighting insurgents on Afghan soil.
