THE DREADFUL LEGACY OF THE 111TH CONGRESS

FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS IT TOLLS FOR THEE.  AS THE YEAR IS WINDING DOWN ON THIS 111th CONGRESS THEIR LEGACY OF DESTRUCTION CONTINUES AS LED BY THIS PRESENT PRESIDENCY. THIS IS ALL BEING ACCOMPLISHED DURING THE LAME DUCK SESSION, AND EVEN AGAINST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE; BUT THEN HAS THIS STOPPED THEM FROM LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE.  COME NEW YEARS EVE IT WILL BE A VERY THANKFUL ONE INDEED.

The latest Democratic victory: A 67-28 vote Tuesday closing off debate on the President’s New START treaty with Russia limiting nuclear arms.

(MIGHT AS WELL GIVE THIS COUNTRY AWAY FOR WITHOUT STRENGTH WE HAVE NO BARGAINING POWER - BUT THEN THIS HAS BEEN THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION'S AGENDA TO GIVE AWAY THIS COUNTRY AS A PRIZE TO THE ENEMY WHO WANTS TO RAPE IT. WHAT WE HAVE ARE TRAITORS AMONGST OUR MIDST)

Several other key pieces of legislation passed during Democrats’ lame-duck revival:

  • A repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” which political wags say will fire up the liberal base whose energy was markedly lacking in the midterm elections.
  • Completion of a food safety bill that grants the federal government broad new power to inspect food processing plants, while raising the standards for food imported into the United States.
  • Republicans agreed to ease a blockade that had stopped about 20 of President Obama’s judicial nominations from being seated on the federal bench.
  • The continuing resolution to fund the government includes an amendment that institutes President Obama’s proposal for a two-year freeze in federal worker pay.
  • In an administrative rather than congressional decision, the FCC moved Tuesday to impose limited “net neutrality” regulations on Internet providers, a move strongly opposed by Republicans. The ruling is widely expected to be challenged in the courts.
(NOT TO MENTION OBAMACARE WHICH THANKFULLY WAS NOT FUNDED DURING THE OMNIBUS LAME DUCK ATTEMPT OF PASSAGE AND NOT EVEN TO FORGET 700 BILLION IN TARP LOANS. THIS CONGRESS HAS BEEN A DREADNOUGHT SPENDER WILLING TO DESTROY WE THE PEOPLE'S FUTURE.)

(TO TOP THE TREE OFF, THE 111th CONGRESS LOVES TO SPEND TO A WHOPPING 2 TRILLION  DOLLARS OVER SPENDING IN THE 2010 BUDGET. CONSIDER THAT 2009 WAS ONLY 1.4 TRILLION IN OVER SPENDING.)

(Reuters) - The U.S. government fell deeper into the red in fiscal 2010 with net liabilities swelling more than $2 trillion as commitments on government debt and federal benefits rose, a U.S. Treasury report showed on Tuesday.

The government's net operating cost, or deficit, in the report grew to $2.080 trillion for the year ended September 30 from $1.253 trillion the prior year as spending and liabilities increased for social programs. Actual and anticipated revenues were roughly unchanged.

The biggest increase in net liabilities in fiscal 2010 stemmed from a $1.477 trillion increase in federal debt repayment and interest obligations, largely to finance programs to stabilize the economy and pull it out of recession.  (WHAT DID WE GET FROM THIS? NOTHING!!!!! BUT MORE UNEMPLOYMENT)
The overall projection, including for those under 15 years of age and not yet born, is much rosier, with the 75-year projected cost falling to $30.857 trillion from last year's projection of $43.878 trillion.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 111TH CONGRESS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOOD RIDDANCE. GO HOME ALREADY!!!!!! WE DO NOT WANT ANYMORE OF YOUR LEGISLATION.
