THE DEMOCRAT POTUS BHO CHAOS SEEMS TO REJECT HIS DUTY TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PEOPLE OF THE US–WITH A CRISIS IN THE EU AND THE PUTIN DOING HIS BEST TO PUSH AROUND THE NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES AND THE LEADER OF NATO REQUESTS A WHITE HOUSE VISIT AND MEETING AND THE DEMOCRAT DOES THE SNUB BECAUSE IT SEEMS RUNNING AWAY FROM PROBLEMS IS HIS WAY OF THE SOLUTION –SO WHAT MESSAGE IS THE POTUS BHO SENDING–DON’T BOTHER ME - IT WOULD BE SINCE TOO BUSY BEING THE LAME DUCK POTUS AND GOLFING TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER A POTENTIAL WAR WITH THE PUTIN

President Barack Obama has yet to meet with the new head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and won't see Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg this week, even though he is in Washington for three days.  Stoltenberg’s office requested a meeting with Obama well in advance of the visit, but never heard anything from the White House, two sources close to the NATO chief told me.

The leaders of almost all the other 28 NATO member countries have made time for Stoltenberg since he took over the world's largest military alliance in October. Stoltenberg, twice the prime minister of Norway, met Monday with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Ottawa to discuss the threat of the Islamic State and the crisis in Ukraine, two issues near the top of Obama's agenda.

Kurt Volker, who served as the U.S. permanent representative to NATO under both President George W. Bush and Obama, said the president broke a long tradition.  “The Bush administration held a firm line that if the NATO secretary general came to town, he would be seen by the president ... so as not to diminish his stature or authority,” he told me.

America's commitment to defend its NATO allies is its biggest treaty obligation, said Volker, adding that European security is at its most perilous moment since the Cold War. Russia has moved troops and weapons into eastern Ukraine, annexed Crimea, placed nuclear-capable missiles in striking distance of NATO allies, flown strategic-bomber mock runs in the North Atlantic, practiced attack approaches on the UK and Sweden, and this week threatened to aim nuclear missiles at Denmark’s warships.

“It is hard for me to believe that the president of the United States has not found the time to meet with the current secretary general of NATO given the magnitude of what this implies, and the responsibilities of his office,” Volker said.

NASA TESTS THE MOST POWERFUL EVER DESIGNED BOOSTER ROCKET FOR TWO MINUTES THAT WOULD SEND HUMANS FARTHER THAN EVER INTO THE SOLAR SYSTEM AS THE PLAN MARS VENTURE GETS UNDER WAY–BUT WAIT DUE TO NASA FUNDING OF CLIMATE CHANGE, THE ENDEAVOR TO MARS PROJECT MAY BE AN EARTH BOUND AFTERALL UNDER THE DEMOCRAT POTUS BHO–AS THE DEMOCRAT LEGACY IN SPACE IS CAPUT JUST LIKE ALL THE DEMOCRATS POLICIES OF ALL TALK BUT NEVER PRODUCES A SINGLE SOLUTION

Nasa has successfully tested the most powerful rocket ever made, which it hopes will one day carry humans to Mars and onto an asteroid.

The Space Launch System (SLS) represents the first time in decades that Nasa has made a rocket anything like as powerful. It was successfully fired lying down in the Utah desert, the first of two tests before it is sent off to Nasa’s Kennedy Space Centre for its first flight.

But it’s unclear whether the rocket will ever be able to make it into space. With limited funding from the American government, the future of Mars and other missions are unclear — even though it will have the most advanced and powerful rockets and systems for sending people to space, Nasa might not be able to pay for it to actually undertake its journey.

But Nasa was optimistic yesterday that the exploration will go ahead.

"The work being done around the country today to build SLS is laying a solid foundation for future exploration missions, and these missions will enable us to pioneer far into the solar system," said William Gerstenmaier, Nasa’s associate administrator for human exploration and operations. "The teams are doing tremendous work to develop what will be a national asset for human exploration and potential science missions."

The test saw the rocket booster fired for two minutes, the same time it will be switched on for as it lifts the SLS off its launch pad. Nasa staff used 531 sensors to measure important things like thrust, pressure and whether new upgrades to the booster worked properly.
